This week’s Tasty Tuesday is probably one of the simplest dishes I’ve ever made, and most of my recipes are pretty simple so that’s saying something. I love sandwiches, and this is a really great sandwich! Slainte!
Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 bottle buffalo wing sauce (like Franks 12oz)
1/2 package dry ranch salad dressing mix
2 tablespoons butter
6 sandwich rolls
Directions
1. Place chicken (frozen or thawed), 3/4 bottle of buffalo sauce, and salad dressing into a crock pot.
2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
3. When chicken is cooked through and tender, shred it using two forks (I do it right in the crock pot).
4. Stir in the butter to thicken the sauce up a bit. Cover and begin prepping the sandwich rolls.
5. Use the shredded chicken as the base of the sandwich. I add it to toasted sub rolls and then top with blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing.
It looks scrumptious.
ReplyDeleteYum!! Is it spicy??
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting I want to make this!
ReplyDeleteYou lost me at "Ingredients". I don't cook. That's Fred job. But I surely eat and that looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteQuestion. Answer when you can. Where does the music on your site come from? I seem to love every song that plays when I visit. Then I find myself hanging on your site until the song is over. Which is fine but I got things to do.
Your Friend, m.
Oh, this looks like something we would love!! Yum.
ReplyDeleteSimple, elegant and delicious.
ReplyDeletethat looks so good and when I saw the title, I thought I would make it this weekend, however I can't get buffalo sauce or ranch dressing mix. So tough titties to me, right?
