This is about all I could muster up for a blog post on the night of the last day of school. Hopefully, these can bring a few laughs to those of us who are still stressed about preparing for the holidays…

They'll have duck on offer at the market to-morrow. So I'll do a tandem roast.
ReplyDeleteI have the crown thawing in the fridge right now ready for the big pot in the morning.
I suppose you're going to tell me you're off to Hawaii.
We had 20m waves of the west coast all last week. That was a btw, btw. :-D
Loved the cards! Have a great last day of school for this year! I have been off for a week and I made a plan not to do a ton of Christmas prep this week...I sure like your schedule better...it's going to be a loooong January!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and Rigby!
@Vince - No, staying in Cali this year, thank goodness. I know this will garner some eye rolling (cuz it always does) but since I've been going to HI for some many years now it's kind of like going to Ohio or some other place you don't really want to go to for Christmas, but have to. :) Weather forecasts here are anywhere between high 60s (perfect) to 80s (blech!) on Christmas day depending on which you look at. I'm hoping for 60s! It must be an all around windy winter. We've had some very heavy winds here too.
ReplyDelete@Marey - As much as I really like going to the end in order to have more break after the holidays, the last few days were BRUTAL. The kiddos got more and more excited about it all the closer we got. On top of that, the wind kicked up this week, and well you know what wind does to them, let alone wind AND Christmas. :) But now...4 weeks of school-less bliss!
ReplyDeleteWait, where's the baby Jesus? He gotta be around there somewhere. If I weren't so drunk right now, I'd come over there and give you some good old fashioned bible lessons.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a very Merry Christmas surrounded by people who love you.

Hey! Don't hate on going to Ohio for christmas! Not that I want to go to Ohio for christmas, but eventually I will have to! At any rate you could have chosen a worse place like South Dakota or Alabama.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I loved those comics and even stole one to post on Facebook, if it decides to ever load.
I hope that you really enjoy your time at home this year!!
Love Santa in the summer suit ; ) merry Christmas.
ReplyDelete@mark - oh mark, many have tried the lessons, but I'm not a quick study when it comes to that subject matter. I'm still a good person though! :)
ReplyDelete@hula - ha ha ha! Sorry about that!
@becky-merry merry to you too!
Love!! Funny!!!
ReplyDeleteDang it! I didn't get to this until after taking down the stockings. Now I won't be able to use that joke until next year.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a Merry Christmas!
