It's been an expensive summer my friends. Yes, I do enjoy shopping and have purchased quite a few shoes over the past month, but since I started summer break (when I don't get paid) unforeseen expenses have popped up. These unforeseen expenses ALWAYS seem to pop up during the summer when I don't get paid. Here's a list of what's come up... Tree Trimming $450
Wall Repair $250
New Tires $560
Sprinkler repair/installation $540
New Vacuum - $200
So, if you're keeping score that's $2,000-unforeseen expenses, $0-paychecks.
I am not looking forward to going back to work, but I am looking forward to getting paid! In the mean time, I wonder if Heifer International will let me buy a flock of chicks for my own use - I'd even share with my fellow unpaid teachers.
