A Year In Review

It’s the beginning of 2012, which brings the 2011 Calendar Challenge (from The Kathryn Wheel) to a close.

As I’m sure is the case with everyone, December was extremely busy.  stuff 124This “Christmas Ribbon” gave me more room to write than I’ve had with the squares. Since I always have so much to say, I liked that!

With only two pages left in this year’s art journal, I was able to do a little journaling.

The journal is complete.  Even though I had a love/hate relationship with the paper in this premade journal, I really like the way the paper looks crinkled and grungy.   stuff 128
Here are all the calendar pages for 2011.

I enjoyed this challenge.  Looking forward to starting over for 2012.  Happy New Year!

  1. Oh, so beautiful! (and creative and inspirational... I really like the idea and I wonder if I could commit to that. I would be so proud of myself - don't you feel proud to have completed this?) Can't wait to see how this year's calender works out for you!!

  2. @meyser - Thank you! Yes, it is an accomplisment as far as creating goes. I tend to try something and then get distracted, leave it, and go to something else. So it was fun to have stuck with it. You should def try it!

  7. Good Job!
I hope that you have the best year ever! But I guess that would mean meeting me in real life. Since that probably won't happen, I hope that you can at least get by in 2012.

  8. I got a journal from Mr BCfor Christmas and promptly left it behind in Mo. Just not use to daily writing things down. I asked him to bring it with him when he comes in Feb.
