Cruel Summer

It's been an expensive summer my friends. Yes, I do enjoy shopping and have purchased quite a few shoes over the past month, but since I started summer break (when I don't get paid) unforeseen expenses have popped up. These unforeseen expenses ALWAYS seem to pop up during the summer when I don't get paid. Here's a list of what's come up...

Tree Trimming $450

Wall Repair $250

New Tires $560

Sprinkler repair/installation $540

New Vacuum - $200

So, if you're keeping score that's $2,000-unforeseen expenses, $0-paychecks.

I am not looking forward to going back to work, but I am looking forward to getting paid! In the mean time, I wonder if Heifer International will let me buy a flock of chicks for my own use - I'd even share with my fellow unpaid teachers.

  3. Yes, GJ totally busted me and therefore her comment was deleted. :) It's ok, after freaking out and removing the post, Jason said, "Just delete it." Please don't be mad Grandma J!

  4. Poor Grandma J.

Well now I totally forgot what I was going to comment. Oh yes! It's a good thing you have your alternate job to fall back on....you know...selling drugs?

OH WAIT! That could probably get you in trouble. I wouldn't want you to delete my comment.

Just kidding everyone! Pumpkin Delight doesn't sell drugs, or even do them. Well, except Nyquil, but only when she's sick, so that doesn't count, right? But I DO think she enjoys her Nyquil just a wee bit too much.

Are you surprised by my comment?

  6. Have I sold Nyquil? I don't remember that. I don't think I'd make cupboards full of money selling that like I would with the other stuff.

    GJ, Jason told me to.
