Tasty Tuesday

delicious3

This week’s Tasty Tuesday is probably one of the simplest dishes I’ve ever made, and most of my recipes are pretty simple so that’s saying something. I love sandwiches, and this is a really great sandwich! Slainte!

Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 bottle buffalo wing sauce (like Franks 12oz)
1/2 package dry ranch salad dressing mix
2 tablespoons butter
6 sandwich rolls

Directions
1. Place chicken (frozen or thawed), 3/4 bottle of buffalo sauce, and salad dressing into a crock pot.
2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
3. When chicken is cooked through and tender, shred it using two forks (I do it right in the crock pot).
4. Stir in the butter to thicken the sauce up a bit. Cover and begin prepping the sandwich rolls.
5. Use the shredded chicken as the base of the sandwich. I add it to toasted sub rolls and then top with blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing.

Picture 002 Add some farmer’s market white peaches and Kettle Chip salt and pepper potato chips and it makes a great (and EASY) summer meal!

  2. You lost me at "Ingredients". I don't cook. That's Fred job. But I surely eat and that looks delicious.
Question. Answer when you can. Where does the music on your site come from? I seem to love every song that plays when I visit. Then I find myself hanging on your site until the song is over. Which is fine but I got things to do.

  4. that looks so good and when I saw the title, I thought I would make it this weekend, however I can't get buffalo sauce or ranch dressing mix. So tough titties to me, right?
