Irrational

So this whole Obama school speech outrage has got me angry! When I'm angry I'm irrational, and things spew out of my mouth like Linda Blair in The Exorcist. So, I am choosing not to rant and rave on this subject matter, yet, but rather direct you to a fellow blogger Teacher Tom and his post on this current "event". He writes exactly how I feel, just far more eloquently than I could ever in this frame of mind. He doesn't call anyone names like Hitler, or a Nazi, or a Socialist, or anyone's children Hitler's Youth, so it's a calm, educated, and sincere post. Since the media likes outrage, there isn't too much speaking out FOR our school children watching the President's school address on Tuesday, so I am glad that Teacher Tom has tackled it calmly and rationally.

  1. Yes, he did a great job making sense of something that makes no sense. He's a smart one.

  3. I think you are only the second person I've ever known to specifically not do something because they know they can be irrational. Most irrational people think they are the Queen(or king) of fairness & common sense thought.

I'm not a Liberal but I've never thought nor would I ever think Obama has nefarious plans for our youth.~Mary

  6. I have no idea what is going on anymore.

But I can say that what I don't understand is banning the President's back to school speech.

    It is the President.

What can the President possibly have to say to school kids that is so controversial?

    Do your homework?

    Stay in school?

    Work hard?

    Listen to your teacher?

Look into my eyes, look directly into my eyes, not around my eyes, but in my eyes...1,2,3...
